The short answer
You need three things: a phone number you can actually answer (we call this one first), the number you want to reach, and enough credits to cover the call. There's no app to install and nothing for the person you're calling to download.
Choosing what to display
Pick the caller ID you want the other side to see before you dial. You can use a number you rent or your own verified number. Whatever you choose is checked against our blacklist first — emergency numbers and a handful of protected numbers can never be used as caller ID.
The first time you use a new caller ID, we may ask you to verify it. That call goes to the same phone you're placing calls from, so it takes a few seconds.
Placing the call
Go to Place a call, enter the destination number, confirm the caller ID you want to show, and place the call. We ring you first — once you pick up and press 1 to confirm, we dial the destination and bridge the two of you together.
If you run low on credits
Both legs of the call are billed, so it's worth checking your balance before a long one. Credits behave differently depending on how you got them — worth a quick read if you just signed up.
